The client, a lawyer specialising in entertainment, media, publishing and gaming law, worked from a small office in Malmö's Trekungahuset, an early 20th century building of great historic importance, designed by the architect John Smedberg.

The intention was to create an environment that felt relaxed and contemporary, while maintaining the formality of a traditional legal milieu. One of the starting points was to create storage for confidential documents. Rosewood boxes hang on one of the walls. Their configuration is a three-dimensional play on the paragraph symbol. The room is divided into formal and informal meeting areas and a workspace through the use of wood and leather-upholstered furniture, which was custom-designed for the project.
